@LindsayTinker1 The reality is that college is an INVESTMENT, not an obligation. There are many other routes one can take to success. I chose college because I like school, and was good at playing the game.
@LindsayTinker1 I think we were kind of groomed into this mentality that if we don't go to college and get a degree, we will be unsuccessful. Instead of hearing, "If you choose to go to college..." I've always heard, "When you get to college..."
Are there more than three research-based approaches to teaching how to write well? Or are these just what works best? (The three being genre-based, writing-to-learn, and writing workshop.) #CO301D
