The nostalgia of watching Doctor Who on DVD. The BBC video ident, the extras and hidden menu easter eggs, even the packaging aesthetic with reversible cover... I don't care that the picture quality isn't perfect I still watch them. "To select audio navigation, press enter now."

'Frontios' is a gem. Macabre, gritty and deep-laden science fiction. The 5th Doctor begins a run of 4 solid stories to end his tenure... #DoctorWho #Season21 #DVD

I get the feeling the new Doctor Who - Season 21 Blu-ray box set will be relatively easy to source at a hefty knock-down from resellers before long. Say what you like, it makes for a nice display item, to admire when you are watching the DVD's.
