Dual citizenship was never controversial, until mass migration, housing shortages, health strains, & cultural tensions made it suspect. Now, the Irish passport feels like it’s handed out too easily as a global mobility pass. People naturalise fast, grab EU perks, then later face losing their country of origin citizenship forever where no dual citizenship is allowed if returning to live, this is pure passport shopping.
It cheapens Irish identity & the passport's value. In today's strained Ireland, dual citizenship sparks real doubt, why make it so easy when it's treated as disposable?

@EmmaKCoates Implying someone isn't Irish and Ireland is not their country because they have some Scandinavian admixture, probably from a 1000 years ago, is not a skill. You can do that with any group. You wouldn't do it with a non-white group.

I turn 65 on Sunday and I decided to finally treat myself to Dublin, Ireland.
I had seen all the posts about MUSLIM INVASIONS, but how bad could it be, right?
Guess what: Dublin is still 99% white people!
Mostly Irish.
A lot of Germans.
And even more surprising: a lot of Americans.
A bunch of them were checking out when I walked in wearing my TRUMP hat.
They looked at me, smiled, gave me a warm welcome - and that was that.
No TDS.
No black rage.
Just good old-fashioned NORMAL white people acting with dignity and respect.
