Companies now make you pay for your own training or expect 2-5 years experience for entry-level positions. Healthcare and PTO are starting to fall by the wayside also. Unions protect that.

Training, 401ks are normally benefits for everyone. Why would I give you a raise or a promotion if you are under-performing? Why should I? Because a DNC lobby said so? That makes zero sense. I promote the people who have earned it. The ones best qualified. The ones must eager to advance themselves. Not the ones who signed a contract that said they would get those things

@MeanderingRhode @belle379 I always hear the United States’ motto of “In God We Trust” and even saw it on the money. Hence, the US always appeared very religious, and assumed it intertwined with government which is why it’s printed on the dollar.

I’m actually really surprised to learn that for the United States that bangs on so much about Christianity that Good Friday and Easter Monday are not federally mandated public holidays for the whole country 🤔 Here in Australia the whole country gets a 4 day long weekend, and those who have to work get paid penalty rates for it.
