I don't want to see any stalker-type enemies in the Resident Evil: Code Veronica and Zero remakes. It’s becoming repetitive and boring because they all function the same way; they add nothing new to the games.

People say RE4 was where they shifted horror to action but nah. It was always Code Veronica that started that tonal shift.

I am now playing Resident Evil - Code: Veronica X for the first time. Two observation right off the bat: 1. The tonal shift away from the original trilogy is immediately apparent. 2. This song goes extremely hard.

Yeah, but I’m glad it got one. The original is still widely available and the remake makes enough differences to warrant its own existence as a separate product. You’re allowed to eat two cakes. No one’s stopping you.
