If that were so, you won’t find such category of people (many of them) in an emerging industry like Web3. There’s nothing wrong with attending a Web3 event dressed like this. Is it now a crime to network because the outfit isn’t screaming luxury? Look closely, many of those mocking them are extremely poør people owing loan apps. This classism is what quietly pressures young people into thinking legitimacy isn’t enough. F%&k you all who do this. To stand in solidarity with them, the next Web 3 event I am attending in Nigeria, I am going there dressed like a poor man in a way that these outfits beat.
