@Linsanitylol @AlanzqTFT @playriftbound Gust helped me a lot to control tempo early, or vs Forerunner without using Rebuke. Very strong vs Draven or Kai’Sa to deny the turn‑2 draw. Against Master Yi, it was incredible — meta vs Azir / Rek’Sai / Viktor.

The most effective way to curb scalpers at pre releases is to give the extra packs out based on record at the event rather than just giving X amount to each player. Just saying!

@SemperIgnotus @Dreamjew Magic sealed is skilled based though unlike Pokemon sealed events. Even if pre releases are marketed as casual friendly.

@Dreamjew Most mtg prerelease events Ive been to are pack per win and a pack to everyone that finishes all three rounds as prizing. Sometimes there’s also extra for top 3-8 depending on size. Works pretty well

Had the most henious rule sharking happen against me round 4 of worlds that knocked me out. Context: 1/2 I was 0-1 into a grimmsnarl. Game 2 i swing 200 and kill the only other benched impidimp. His board is 3 munkis, budew, impidimp a 110 dmged grimm going into my turn.

@Cabled @PokemariTCG @sinBADNE @azulgg @YoshiBrightside If you forgot to hit the timer that’s their loss. They just lose out on time. Beats having someone take 35minutes of the 50minutes.

People missing their timer hits will cause tons of judge calls imo as well. This doesn't take into account what kind of penalties would be set for things not properly being done

What if

@Tommypizza3 @YoshiBrightside The only card this applies to is iron bundle type effects. And in that case you hit the chess clock just like in ptcgl if I play boss and you take more than 5 seconds to move your card just call a judge

@YoshiBrightside Chess clock would be fine if we didn't have effects that require the opponent to interact like iono/ boss. They can take extra time3 moving stuff up to run your chess clock unless you need to pass it to them when it's their turn to resolve said effect which becomes a TO nightmare
