@LinseyHood9 It's fabulous. ❤️ Amazing construction. It looks like framing for a house. Are you sure they're not secretly working for a house builder at the weekend? 😉

Was absolutely blown away by the level of skill and detail in this block play ‘hotel’ by a 4 year old! Every single block was carefully selected and placed. @LintonLass

The exploration looks at the impact of technology on young children and whether it can enhance play, language development and social skills. In the early years, block play isn't just fun, it's key for developing spatial and maths skills! Active play is just as important. Get children moving to support their vestibular system and combat sedentary lifestyles. #play #earlychildhoodeducation #BeingMe

Early studies with P4 pupils found “learning maths while exercising spatial reasoning increases performance in the subject by 20 per cent and can reduce attainment gaps”. tes.com/magazine/news/…

As humans we crave connection but how can early years educators strengthen their practice through building relationships with parents, families and communities? Why is connection so important? 🤔 In the latest episode of the Froebel Trust podcast, our guests explore the importance of building relationships. They share the ways educators and leaders in early years settings can connect with families to understand more about each child's individual experiences and use this knowledge to help them start from where the child is. ✨ 🎉 The episode celebrates the launch of the new Froebel Trust pamphlet, Connecting with parents, families and communities: a starting point. 🎧 You can download the latest episode and the pamphlet via our website. 🔗 Download Episode 18: froebel.org.uk/training-and-r… 🔗 Download free pamphlet: froebel.org.uk/training-and-r… #EarlyYears #EarlyEducation #Froebel #FroebelianEducation #EarlyLearning #EarlyEd #EdChat

@OonaghKelleher Your hair is gorgeous. I've found a brighter lipstick helps to lift my complexion with my natural (grey) hair. 55 for comparison.

I started a barbering course in edinburgh last week. Here’s a Wee before and after of a trim I gave cameron earlier today, I’m self taught so far with YouTube tutorials and an online course I bought and now I’m on a proper course as I always wanted to give it a go. I love talking to people and making them feel better about themselves. Does anyone know any good barber on Edinburgh/East Lothian that would let me come in on a work placement twice a week at ZERO cost to themselves just for me to shadow/learn alongside my course.

In 1837, Friedrich Froebel founded the first “Children’s Garden” in Germany. Froebel believed that learning should be active, nurturing, and grounded in play—ideas that continue to shape early childhood education worldwide. #FlashbackFriday #KindergartenEducation
