@affehockey Hans defensiva impact är på en NHL-nivå. Det är hans offensiva förmåga som varit det som hållit han från att fullt ut etablera sig som en ordinarie botten-sex spelare i NHL. I AHL i år snittar han dock 0,745 poäng per match. Så på den nivån & på SHL-nivån säkert en kanonspelare.

@Fkiltorp På kontrakt tills säsongens slut, vilket isåfall skulle få mig att luta åt skada. Men vem vet vad som gäller kontraktsmässigt i och med att seniorlagets säsong är över. Svårt att spekulera utan att veta kontraktsdetaljerna.

@GradySas @imacSportsnet All the signs points to a flawed or flat out wrong messaging from top down (management to coaching at ice level). The focus should be on seeing what they have in a Tolopilo when he has to go through waivers next season. Wouldn't be good if they have a Silovs situation again.

@jimmyhamrin IMO Frondells främsta förmåga som spelare är hans duellspel och hans skott, målförmåga. Två attributer som skriker ytterforward. Inte riktig den där spelfördelaren som centerspelet kan kräva.

Jag tror inte att Anton Frondells bästa potential på sikt är som center. Han kan bli en riktigt bra vinge i NHL dock.

But he’s played center a lot in his life, and I think he’s got traits to be a really good 200-foot winning center. @erikwillander Risky way to live, but if you believe in your goalie & off. talent I could see the argument for it. Also 3v3 is so much about on ice IQ, always winning your 1v1 situation def & off. So you could play it more conservatively, man on man. All about your strenghts as a team IMO.

@erikwillander I think there is really no wrong answer when it comes to backchecking 3v3. With lack of forechecking you very likely can get a breakaway or a 2v1 opportunity the other way to win if the opposition doesn't capitalize.

I find it difficult to agree with Drance second point in his Tweet. We have all seen games determined 3on3 as a direct result of poor backchecking. Thus the game state rewards good backchecking. It would be interesting to know how Drance arrives at a different conclusion.

The worst part about 3-on-3 is teams leaving the o-zone to do figure 8s in the neutral zone. The second worst part about 3-on-3 is fans criticizing players for not backchecking in a game state that doesn’t reward it. The third worst part about 3-on-3 is that it used to be cool.

That's not how sports coverage works or should work. If you disagree with that, sure, but I'm not gonna argue in circles about that.

All fanbases of different teams sees what you're tweeting, especially from a guy like Sat with a bigger following. Adding context of the reality of the situation is crucial value sportscoveragewise.

If you want a positive spin on things without the added context (which sometimes can be described as negativity) you have the Canucks website for that coverage.

Sure, 500 points is a great milestone but adding the context of how different the player he's today in comparison to say the 100 point-one is crucial context.

You're just making up stuff on the spot. The Canucks are last in the NHL, of course some part of the coverage is gonna be "negative".

Tyvärr välförtjänt. Leksand det överlägset sämsta laget i SHL denna säsongen både i grundserien och kvalserien mot HV. Ett litet hopp om fortsatt SHL-spel fanns med LIF's fina formkurva i slutet av säsongen men icke.
