Here's a peek at the shipyard. For early access release you'll be able to construct troop ships (triremes) and cargo ships (navae). Three days left!

Place your bets! Chariot races will be available in the full version in 4 days!

Stone walls will be available in the full version of Nova Roma, and can be placed diagonally!

Early Access launch is coming soon, but in the meantime we’ve updated the demo! Check out new governor bonuses, diagonal walls, and tons of bug fixes.

While the demo may be restricted to a small island, in the full version of the game you will have access to MUCH larger maps and more islands! Let your cities sprawl!

Aqueducts in Nova Roma can turn freely and are not locked to the grid. Elegantly maneuver around any obstacle or terrain!

@ancestyr_ The team is committing time to investigating performance improvements for KC. Specifically to see if the map size can be increased. Fingers crossed!

We've now got an early access release date for Nova Roma: January 22, 2026! We really wanted to hit this year, but the three of us need a little more time to polish things up. You will get to try the game this year though, we're doing a Steam demo on December 5th!
