Section High School

Pisgah swept the small school division titles at today’s Pisgah Cross Country Invitational. Section’s Jennifer Vega and Geraldine’s Collin Mayfield were the small school girls and boys division individual race winners respectively.

Baseball: Section defeats Hatton 12-2 in five innings in Game 3 of the teams’ Class 2A first-round best-of-three series. Section advances to play at Westbrook Christian in a Round 2 series that starts Friday.

Baseball: Section defeats No. 2-ranked Fyffe 5-3 to win the Class 2A Area 16 Championship. The Lions will host a 2A first-round best-of-three playoff series April 19-20.
