@Brendzun By the point f2p can get to all the planets needed and spend 4 days crafting up Nekros, the paid player will've snowballed.
Once trading is unlocked, you can just buy a full build. Even further. You're Steel path ready MR5. You can get fashion (big endgame piece) etc.

@LuBaLu_Net @Hal6651 @TwittTrial_5115 Because the game doesn't use dark pattern design. DPD is intentionally deceptive to get players to spend money, which warframe does not do. The devs have, on numerous occasions, changed the presentation of systems to more clearly present how things can be earned for free.

@Hal6651 @LipidRegent @TwittTrial_5115 ok, people are splitting hairs over this. Why is it important that it is not tagged as a gacha game? Because gachas are predatory pseudo-gambling dark pattern games. So if a game has Skinner Box mechanics and Dark Patterns without specific gacha mechanics, it is still predatory.

@slumberglasgow For kullervo you build strength, keep your range and duration over 100%, and maybe slot some efficiency if you like. The augment for recompense (his 2) is also very good, so get it if you can, or ask a player who can get it for you.

I think nidus and kullervo are the only warframes I haven’t really done any real builds for.. and I have no idea where to even start

@LuBaLu_Net @TwittTrial_5115 @evantelico If they go looking for it, it's not advertised or even on the front page of the market. It's a waste of plat too, because you can grind relics super easy or just buy a full set from another player for as much as that relic pack would have cost.

@LuBaLu_Net @TwittTrial_5115 Incorrect. In a gacha you pay for extra pulls, literal gambling. In warframe you only "gamble" with your time for random, if you spend money you get the desired item, no gamble required.

@LipidRegent @TwittTrial_5115 if it has dark pattern game design, it's a gacha, and just as predatory pseudo-gambling for children. It's available for children to play with plenty of gambling mechanics. Bounties should be fixed rewards, instead it is a slot machine, same with Relics and Rivens 📠🤷♂️

@Triburos saddly i think this is untenable, these tennogen idle animations would need to cover all types of weapons, then clear the check for all warframes and miscellaneous states. Next what happens when a new weapon type is launched ? The original artists works on it or DE ?
