It was very cold, and to keep themselves warm they sang Pooh’s song right through six times, Piglet doing the tiddlely-poms and Pooh doing the rest of it, and both of them thumping on the top of the gate with pieces of stick at the proper places. ~A.A.Milne

A funny feeling began to creep all over him. It began at the tip of his nose and trickled all through him and out at the soles of his feet. It was just as if somebody inside him were saying, “Now then, Pooh, time for a little something.” ~A.A.Milne

Pooh picked a fir-cone up, and said to himself, “This is a very good fir-cone, and something ought to rhyme to it.” Then this came into his head: “Here is a myst'ry about a little fir-tree. Owl says it's his tree, And Kanga says it's her tree.” ~A.A.Milne #ChristmasTree

“I’m glad,” said Pooh happily, “that I thought of giving you a Useful Pot to put things in.” “I’m very glad,” said Piglet, I thought of giving you Something to put in the Useful Pot.” Eeyore was taking the balloon out, and putting it back again, as happy as could be… ~A.A.Milne

They got up; and after Piglet had sat down again, because he didn’t know the wind was so strong, they started off. They held on to each other shouting, “Isn’t it?” and “What?” When they got to Kanga’s house they were so buffeted that they stayed for lunch. ~A.A.Milne #StormBert

Christopher Robin was listening to something. “Can you hear it?” he asked Eeyore. “What is it? Somebody laughing?” “Listen.” They both listened… and they heard a gruff voice saying in a singing voice that the more it snowed the more it went on snowing. Tiddely-pom. ~A.A.Milne

Piglet was wearing a white muffler round his neck and feeling more snowy behind the ears than he had ever felt before. “Pooh,” he said at last, and a little timidly, because he didn’t want Pooh to think he was Giving In, “How would it be if we went home now?” ~A.A.Milne #cold

"It isn't so Hot in my field about three o'clock in the morning as some people think it is," said Eeyore. "It isn't Close, if you know what I mean. It isn't Stuffy. In fact, Christopher Robin, quite-between-ourselves-and-don't-tell-anybody, it's Cold."~A.A.Milne #cold #Tuesday

Pooh was trying to make up a piece of poetry about fir-cones because there they were, lying about on each side of him, and he felt singy. So he picked a fir-cone up and said to himself, “This is a very good fir-cone and something ought to rhyme to it.”~A.A.Milne #SundayThoughts

Tigger, who had been hiding behind trees and jumping out on Pooh’s shadow when it wasn’t looking, said that Tiggers were only bouncy before breakfast, and that as soon as they had had a few haycorns they became Quiet and Refined. ~A.A.Milne #SaturdayMorning

One day when Pooh Bear had nothing else to do, he thought he would do something, so he went round to Piglet’s house to see what Piglet was doing. He stumped over the Forest track, and expected to find Piglet warming his toes in front of his fire. ~A.A.Milne #fridayfeeling

Piglet felt so Foolish and Uncomfortable that he had almost decided to run away to Sea. “Well done, Piglet,” said Christopher Robin. And at these encouraging words Piglet felt happy again, and decided not to be a Sailor after all. ~A.A.Milne #encouragement

Pooh took his largest pot of honey and escaped with it to a broad branch of his tree and then he climbed down again and escaped with another pot… and when the whole Escape was finished, there was Pooh sitting on his branch and beside him were ten pots of honey. ~A.A.Milne #rain
