SB611, which I filed with @NatalieforNC, would let people renew their license online twice in a row - saving up to 1M DMV appointments per year. Responsible governing - on the long list of DOA bills that could have improved people’s lives. We will keep fighting for it.

Today, Senate Republicans rejected an amendment from Sen. Jay Chaudhuri that would have taken a comprehensive, data-driven approach to lowering health care costs in North Carolina.

On this somber anniversary, we honor the lives brutally taken from us last October 7th. The attacks by Hamas on Israel left awful scars on families, communities, and nations. We pray for the release of the hostages and a lasting peace for Israelis and Palestinians. May the memories of those lost be a blessing.
