Praia de Marinha Praia de Marinha looks like a place that only exists in the “Lord of the Rings” movies with its iconic rock formations around the area. The water in Praia de Marinha is perfect for scuba diving. Book a boat tour to explore the caves or simply lie on the beach and take in the surroundings, both are equally enjoyable. Visitors can also explore the walking trail that runs along the cliffs for impressive views from above.

Praia de Bordeira When the tide is low, the beach becomes much larger. Nearly 3.6km of coastline, Praia de Bordeira attracts a large number of surfers. Its smooth sand is also an ideal destination for family vacations. The small Bordeira River will sometimes connect with the ocean to form a warm, shallow lagoon, perfect for children to play in, alongside the surrounding sand dunes. To the south of the beach is a surf school and equipment rental shop, along with a beach cafe for those who want to relax.

Ponta da Piedade Not far from Praia de Benagil is Ponta da Piedade, another attractive beach that can be explored on fishing boat tours. Visitors will be led through windy winding rocky bays. Choose smaller boats because they can enter secret locations between large rocks that larger boats often miss.

Hang Praia de Benagil Praia de Benagil is an impressive beach, set next to yellow cliffs, popular with both tourists and fishermen in the area. The most attractive destination is exploring the nearby sea caves. A fisherman will row your boat for several hours to get there. If you go early, you can watch people in the area catch fish.
