Every day after practice, Iowa WR Jacob Gill hits the JUGS machine to catch 204 balls. He got the idea from Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown, who catches 202 each day after seeing someone else who caught 200 a day. Gill: “My parents (taught) me at a young age about discipline, that you’ve got to find different ways to separate yourself. I've just been going with that in every aspect of my life, just trying to find different ways where I can push myself more. You know, what more can I do? We talk about that in our (wide-receivers) room. We talk about that on the team. What more can you do? What more can you put in? And I take that personally. I'm trying to push myself to be great and get everything out of me.” While Iowa's passing offense has admittedly lacked production, Gill has been a constant, uplifting voice in that room the past 2 years since transferring from Northwestern. His final college game comes Wednesday vs. Vanderbilt.

Iowa moves up to #54 nationally in scoring offense, finishing Tim Lester's second year at 29.3 ppg. Currently #9 in scoring defense (16.1 ppg).

All-B1G Offense ⭐️

Blocking key on that TJ Washington jet gainer. Not just Trevor Lauck de-cleating a guy downfield - but Jacob Gill on the LOS. He seals the left side and helps spring it. Awesome.
