My body is driving me up the wall. No period for 2 months, period for 2 weeks, spotting forever, period (is it?) again. Repeat. Docs appointment Thurs (the 3rd on this issue) but if this sounds like perimenopause and you’ve been there please share and put my frantic mind at rest

Gutted to say that I’ve had to drop out of the Jersey Island Walk. After 38 miles (of 48) I’m in agony. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and volunteers who have made it a great day otherwise. I might be back.

After more than a year of running, cancer treatment is making training very difficult so I’m taking a short break from running. In June I am climbing the National Three Peaks and walking the 48 mile Jersey Island Walk I’ll adapt and change - I will never give in. #fucancer
