For those who are fearful and anxious for our future, “Thy kingdom come, thy WILL be done IN EARTH, AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.” We have nothing to fear. God is still in control. Things may look bad for a while but it’s God’s Will that will ultimately win. God also wants to bring the Glory of Heaven to earth. Be prepared for the bad but also be ready for God’s coming Glory.

When Holy Spirit gave me this verse, He also gave me this image…a Well in the middle of dried out trees and foliage. What does it mean to blaspheme Holy Spirit and how does Luke 12:10 connect to the image? ~ ~ To blaspheme Holy Spirit: The definition of “blaspheme” is: “To speak in a way that shows irreverence for God or something sacred; to utter blasphemy. It can also mean to speak of or address with irreverence, or to revile.” Per Merriam-Webster. To biblically blaspheme: In Matthew and Mark, blasphemy occurs in the context of the Pharisees accusing Jesus of casting out demons by the power of satan (i.e., attributing Holy Spirit’s work to the devil). In Luke 12:10, a different example of blasphemy is given. Jesus warns His disciples about fearing persecution and our refusal to boldly confess Him. The sin of persistent and willful rejection of Holy Spirit’s testimony about Jesus leaves a person without forgiveness. ~ ~ What does the Well mean? A Well is used consistently throughout the Bible and represents: 1) A Life-giving provision that supplies and sustains physical life in a barren, arid environment. 2) Spiritual refreshment and salvation. Jesus Himself uses well imagery when speaking to the Samaritan woman (John 4). He offers “living water” that becomes “a spring of water welling up to eternal life” — a direct picture of Holy Spirit satisfying the soul’s deepest thirst. 3) Encounter with God. Many pivotal divine meetings happen at wells: Rebekah, Rachel, Moses’ wife Zipporah, and the Samaritan woman all meet their destiny or receive revelation there. Wells are places where the ordinary (drawing water) meets the supernatural. A Well that is fed by an underground spring especially symbolizes Holy Spirit — an inner source of life that never runs dry when connected to Christ (John 4:14; John 7:38-39, where “rivers of living water” explicitly refer to Holy Spirit). In reference to the image, the dry, sparse land and foliage represents a spiritual dryness; a soul-parched season which could happen during testing or hardened hearts (rejecting God, Christ, Holy Spirit). The Well represents an invitation from God to be nourished by Him. We can continue being parched and live life on our own terms, rejecting Christ and the workings of the Cross. But this path leads to spiritual hunger/thirst and eternal separation from God. Or we can enter into a relationship with God (which is what He wants) and accept the blessings of God which includes the gifts the Cross provides…forgiveness, mercy, an open door to the Father and free gift of salvation. To repent, to trust, to believe in and receive Christ as our Lord and Savior, to be in a relationship with Him, to let Him provide for all our needs, quenches our spiritual thirst and grants us eternity with God in heaven. The choice is ours. *some of this is per Grok.

I find this hard to believe. I live in Oregon. Many people collect rainwater to use both in Oregon and around the country. Even around the world. My guess is that this looks like an old video and laws have changed since this allegedly happened (but I doubt it did). Also, at the beginning, the words being said by the judge and the movement of his mouth don’t match. I even asked Grok. It is NOT illegal to collect rain water in Oregon.

In Oregon if you store rainwater the state arrests you for theft of public property.

We had a weekend in Glasgow and went out for dinner at a highly recommended Chinese restaurant. We decided to try something new on the menu called Chicken Surprise. A few minutes later, the waiter brought our meal — a covered cast iron pot. Just as Elaine was about to serve herself, the lid popped up a little… and she saw two tiny eyes peeking out! Then the lid dropped back down. “Ian , did you see that?!” she whispered. I hadn’t, so she told me to look. I lifted the lid — and sure enough, two little eyes peered up at me before i slammed the lid shut again. Totally baffled, I called the waiter over. “Excuse me, but something’s alive in here!” The waiter nodded politely and said, “Ah, so sorry, sir. You ordered Chicken Surprise?” “Yes,” i said nervously. “Ah,” said the waiter, bowing slightly. “My mistake. That’s our Peking Duck!”

Dear Almighty Father, I lift up Israel to you. I ask for your Divine protection to cover your Chosen people. I pray for the Peace of Jerusalem. I pray for the Peace of Israel. I pray for your Peace and protection to cover Jews and Christian’s all around the world. I pray that no weapon formed against Israel or the people of Israel will prosper. I ask all of this in your Holy Name.
