A friend tonight invited us to a dog wedding. Apparently her 6-year-old daughter has been arranging this with her friend's dog. There are handwritten invites, music, and decorations. We're supposed to dress up. The family is stressed about all the preparations. I'm so excited.

My husband is genius. He knows I hate surprise parties but he didn't want me to feel like I had to help plan one so he invented the "ambush birthday party" yesterday where he planned it all in secret and then told me about it 2 hours in advance so I could prepare emotionally.
