@lizslayed If we had more housing stock everywhere this wouldn’t be feasible for the landlord because you could just move to another (much less exploitative) tenancy. Mine went up too and it’s very hard to swallow. Sorry to hear it’s such a huge rise.

@ConsummateChaos How sad. I’m sorry to hear that and this explains how the driver was not at fault. A tragedy for all impacted.

@LisasShare Yes it is unpredictable. A friend of mine died in his twenties due to undiagnosed epilepsy. It was his first known seizure and he was extremely fit and healthy.

There is something very disturbing about the discourse around the decision not to charge the driver of the car that ploughed into the Wimbledon school, causing the death of two children. Lots of people asserting that the families have been denied justice and that the driver..🧵

I fold corners to bookmark and I’ll never stop because it reminds me how often I paused (less folds = incredible read)

When I’m asked about my type

@andrewhunterm This is so cheering. I fantasise about doing this on the regular but London has become too stabby. I yearn to give out packets of headphones on the bus to culprits who seem to have forgotten them 🙄but I’d be broke within weeks

This morning, in a cafe, I politely asked someone playing videos out loud on his phone, quite close to my head, if he had any headphones. He stopped. A better world is possible and I’ve never felt so alive

I could so have wasted that 94 minutes of my life pissing about on my phone instead.
