@PlagueDocta049 It was shown that he wanted attention through an arcade game, which does conflict with how he misses shows. Outside of that, there isn't direct reasons for that theory. What we do know is that he was affected by the mimic and became violent like the others

@strwberryhearts There are definitely people who hate him for that. First black coded character in game and they're treated worse than a white guy who openly did worse

@Listthename @EmeSilly (And like we know the glamrock’s are able to resist it if it’s getting them to do something they just won’t do, like Freddy and Roxy are able to get themselves put into safe mode when they know their mimic system is trying to get them to attack gregory or Cassie

@Thomas80679067 @EmeSilly The mimic programming does amplify the flaws the animatronics have while also making them even more aggressive in general. We can see it with Chica and the pizza bot. Even for a character like DCA, a daycare bot, they try to get Gregory

@Listthename @EmeSilly EhI don’t think we have much evidence for that, and like the way that the hacking works on the other animatronics is that it empowers the mimic progarming of the glamrock’s and allows ot to take more control of them, which in effect emphasises the worst traits and fears they have

@Thomas80679067 @EmeSilly The mimic was there while Bonnie was still around, which is when it began to infect the animatronics with the virus. It is most likely the case that Monty was controlled by the Mimic to destroy Bonnie to stop him from investigating, which the logs state that Bonnie was doing

you can love a character and still admit when they’re wrong. i love Monty but can acknowledge his flaws (he has none) & can hold him accountable for his wrongdoings (he’s never done anything wrong in his entire life) & call him out for his actions (which are always correct)
