1/1 on Micro Crude Oil Futures today. First was a Break even. Followed my Playbook but unfortunately it was a period of accumulation. Trade 2 was my AMD continuation model hit. After retracing into a 5 min FVG I targeted the New Week Opening Gap as the liquidity draw. Up $1500 on the day!

Not going to sugarcoat this. Today I went on tilt. Bad. I'm not going to come in here and say I clicked the wrong contract or it was just a couple bad trades. I completely lost control of my process. My 5 Lucid evals - gone My Topstep XFAs - gone My Tradeify live accounts - gone All of them. One session. It's hard to post this. But I'd rather be honest than be another account that only shows green days. I take full responsibility. No excuses. Zooming out - we're still up about $40k on the year from payouts. So this is a small setback, not the end. But that doesn't make today okay and I know that. I'm stepping away for the weekend. Resetting. Coming back Monday with a clear head and a slower approach. Bad day. Lesson learned. We move forward. I’ll be getting back in my routine of trade recaps and breakdowns as that helped hold me accountable with my trading. It sucks but nothing I can do about it now

Learning opportunity: Be wary of the pull back on higher time frames Overall did well sticking to strategy and on emotions, just had an early entry.

Price immediately went to my TP which was a 2.2 R:R from my entry.

Worst days are the one you lose due to only because of you. Today I lost a trade on CL hitting my personal daily loss limit. I entered a new trade only to immediately have another loss. Emotions took over and got me. Time to make a change and do better.

Approved for another ~50k with Apex. With everything going on, I think it’s also important for me to be transparent. I’ve been trading with Apex since 2024. I tried many strategies that failed and didn’t really have a proper system. Apex was the one firm I couldn’t get going. For a long time, I was net b/e with them, as you can see from the high PA numbers. What changed between then and now is that I fixed my bad trading behaviors. These PAs that I currently have have zero violations at all (you can see in the pic). Changing those bad habits is also the reason I was able to go live with seven different prop firms. I never had any promo codes, affiliate , mentorships, or Discord groups to sell. All the evaluations and PAs were paid for with my own money, earned through trading. I will keep going my own way and continue improving myself. I just want to share that not everything you see on X is truthful. Trading is very hard and mentally draining, and in the end, you choose the path of becoming successful Trader or not

Well this was a very humbling day for me. Trading and work meetings are my downfall every time :/ Gave back basically this whole week of gains 😭 But we just got approved for a very big payout so stay tuned for my next post hehe ;)
