@busyrumble@ettamargarit That's not true. Paragon learned from his mistake of forging Kennit and making him a psychopath in the process. He specifically takes off the edge of her experience (=years of therapy) but leaves her all the memories of it to process in a healthy way.
@busyrumble@ettamargarit Because they don't know the half of it. If we hadn't Kennit's POV, we would also think what a hero freeing all the slaves etc. And the pirates might not even consider his behavior as bad even if they knew.
@ettamargarit Kennit being a hero in public's eyes is what enables the happy ending for everyone else: peace, creation of a new country, all the new trade contracts, end of slavery in the region, safe life for Etta and Wintrow and the baby, among other things.
With that HUGE deal that @Apple did with Brandon Sanderson, what are the chances of @robinhobb getting one? 🙏🏻 Would love to see The Realm of the Elderlings get some love.
@gelsbelovedfitz I plan on it. I’ve had this feeling since book 1 that the final book will recontextualize the entire series/world. Without spoilers, would you say that’s true?
@fitchivalry@Kaygun_____ I think it was only a few months since the death. I think it was mentioned that she was 9 but looked like 6 at some point.. no?
@fitchivalry I mean there way that one part with the Fools messenger, but afterwards it was chill again. I think overall they had over 10 years together, before they got Bee. Of course with Bee came severe doubts and self loathing from Fitz, because he convinced himself he’s terribel
@hrtofthepack Oh, more on topic, yes, it is wonderful how he learns from the human keepers that it is ok to be a caregiver and it does save lives. Such growth!
