In January 2024, industrial prices (excluding refined petroleum products) were stable compared to December 2023. Industrial prices increased by 0.3 per cent, influenced by a 2.9 per cent rise in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply prices.

According to the data of 1 January 2024, 142,954 economic entities were operating in Lithuania, which accounted for 60.4 per cent of all registered economic entities. Compared to the beginning of 2023, the number of active economic entities grew by 14.3 per cent.
