Is having a bunch of historical characters be young women so you can have a pseudoharem woke? Lolis making out, girls in skintight revealing outfits, damsels in distress, "cultural appropriation", masters having sex with their servant to "restore mana", women getting fridge'd, not a single nasolabial fold in the entire series. Is it all woke just because of two funny yaoibait joke scenes?

They're much less affected, yes, be it from their culture or the environment making them not wanting to cause trouble. Anime in general is less affected by them there.
