@Literature_Lady I think it’s the writing. Young people don’t write. They type. I found that the act of creating the cards or other study device helped me remember the material. The physical act of writing helps me to organize my thoughts and remember them later.

@TheRealHoarse I have a question you might be able to answer. About tfg and his pathology. Why is he so willing to hide behind lawyers? Since he’s always sure that no one knows more about anything than he does, it seems odd that he takes advice from lawyers.

The idea that the recent price inflation has been driven by companies capitalizing off of the pandemic and raising prices just to line their pockets was once considered a fringe theory. Not anymore. Mainstream economists are now backing the idea. Labor and other input costs haven’t risen nearly enough to explain the massive inflation of the last few years. Meanwhile, corporate profits have skyrocketed. Companies knew that due to the pandemic and the war in Ukraine, the public would “accept” higher costs. So they were able to profiteer with some degree of cover. There need to be investigations into the extent of their profiteering. Companies need to be held accountable. Otherwise, the next time there’s a major crisis, they will do the same thing and again strangle the economy. #UnionsForAll
