Not sure where this one started, but it’s not true. The next Call of Duty is not being developed for PS4.

@InsiderGamingIG COD has been on PS4 since 2013, it’s been 10+ years and yet they can’t leave PS4/Xbox One behind. BF6 came out on PS5 and Xbox Series X only, including PC and became the best selling shooter of 2025.

Why would anyone think this? If you have played any GTA game, they never used product placement or ads for IRL stuff. They would rather create their own unique worlds and not have to worry about royalties to brand other companies within the game. It’s why IRL car brands are not in the GTA games at all.

‘GTA 6’ won't have any brand product placement. “It's a fictional world and everything in it is fictional. So we're not even at risk of doing brand partnerships because all the brands are made up. And I think that keeps us pure.”

Key term, a lot. There are a couple on Nintendo Switch 2 which most of them are re enhanced versions of Switch 1 games. Nintendo started the $80 price for some of their games back in 2025. Microsoft tried to do $80 games starting with Outer Worlds 2 and due to huge negative feedback, they reverted their approach and decided to do $70 standard again. So not counting Nintendo, we don’t have a PS5, PC, or an Xbox game that is at $80 yet. GTA 6 may be that title

I like how you say “should” more like it’s gonna happen. They have made millions off these crossover bundles/event passes that in no way would just turn it off. Even in BO7 when they said that the would go easy with the crossovers in terms of cartoonish skins like Stan, Roger, B&B etc. They still add Fallout, Dave Chapelle, and now Robocop. I’d love for their bundles to be about the game universe it’s set in and not about the Fortnite effect of getting crossovers to get eyes on your game every month and half or so. Short answer is no, but let’s be honest. They won’t stop
