Author Rachel May visited to read to us her new book 'Aunty Planty and the Eco Warriors'. She read to two Pre-School groups, one in the garden and the other in Forest School. The children very much enjoyed the story and asked Rachel some great questions! #storytelling #literacy

A group from Pre-School had a lovely time pond dipping in the Science Garden at @LancingPrepHove today. They saw dragonfly nymphs and tadpoles and enjoyed a snack and a tadpole story before heading back to nursery. #nature #ponddipping

We wore red to raise money for @ChildrenInNeed. We thank our families whose donations to this wonderful charity are actively helping families in our community. This amazing charity help to put food on plates, roofs over heads and keep little ones safe. #Helpingothers #Nurserylife

All Little Lancing children have a book as a Christmas gift. In Iceland, Jolabokaflod is the joy of giving books as gifts for reading over the festive period. We hope that our Little Lancing community snuggle down on Christmas Eve to start to explore the stories! #jolabokaflod

Our first 'Employee of the Month' is awarded to Beth in Investigators. It's lovely to see the three joint second places go to staff in each room and great to hear our fantastic staff are so appreciated. Thank you to all who voted; who will top the leader board in September?

A group of our Pre-School visited @LancingPrepHove for a pond dipping session in their lovely science garden. We caught newts, water boatmen and dragonfly larvae in our nets and transferred them to containers to watch them swim around before carefully returning them to the pond!
