En 2022, fue víctima de una violación grupal. Esto le provocó una depresión postraumática, lo que la llevó a intentar suicidarse lanzándose desde un quinto piso. Sobrevivió, pero quedó con lesiones graves. Con el apoyo de su madre, pero en contra de los deseos de su padre, solicitó la eutanasia en 2024. Tras casi dos años de litigios, hoy se le practicará la eutanasia a los 25 años de edad. El hospital que presionó para que se le practicara la eutanasia recibirá la donación de sus órganos. En cada caso, se trata de mujeres jóvenes que, en su mayoría, gozan de salud física, pero sufren mentalmente. ¿Y qué hace el Estado? En lugar de curarlas, las mata. Los padres y el Estado, las principales autoridades moralmente obligadas a protegerlas, les fallan y, al final, para lavarse las manos, se deshacen de ellas bajo el pretexto de una «muerte digna». Esto es inmoral. Esto es perverso. Esto es, francamente, diabólico. Hay una agenda en marcha en Occidente, en particular, Europa: la reducción y sustitución de la población. Hemos pasado de escuchar el dolor a consentirlo y validarlo sin discernimiento, y en ese tránsito confundimos el respeto con la indiferencia. Respetar no es asentir; a veces requiere resistirse, acompañar y sostener incluso cuando el otro no ve salida. Hay en este caso un elemento de una gravedad singular que exige ser pensado con detenimiento. Se trata de una joven de veinticinco años, con una biografía marcada por el trauma, el abandono y un sufrimiento psíquico profundo, que solicita la muerte asistida… y el propio Estado se la concede. No estamos ante un hecho aislado. Estamos ante un signo de nuestro tiempo. Cuando el Estado moderno, con todo su aparato jurídico, sanitario y tecnológico, facilita activamente la muerte de quien sufre, se produce un desplazamiento decisivo en el fundamento mismo de la convivencia humana. Aquí se rompe algo más que un principio legal. Se destroza la alianza del ser humano consigo mismo, con los demás y con toda forma de trascendencia. Se rompe el vínculo originario que hacía de la vida un bien a custodiar, incluso (y especialmente) cuando se vuelve débil, vulnerable o herida. Lo que emerge, en su lugar, es una forma nueva y radical de soledad. No ya la soledad padecida, sino una soledad legitimada, administrada y, en última instancia, ejecutada. Una soledad que, más que una herida, resulta un procedimiento. Asistimos, así, a una mutación antropológica profunda. El ser humano es ya concebido como un proyecto técnico, sometido a lógicas propias de lo tecnológico, la lógica de la eficiencia, del rendimiento y, así, de la optimización de su sufrimiento. En ese marco, la muerte pierde su significado y se convierte en la solución. Como médico, lo que más me inquieta es que este proceso no se presenta como ruptura, sino como ’progreso’. Algunos “expertos” comparecieron ayer en los telediarios para explicarlo, justificarlo y normalizarlo! Ahora bien, en esa normalización se opera una transformación de enorme calado, pues a la medicina, cuyo sentido más hondo ha sido siempre cuidar, aliviar y acompañar, se le invita a participar, con respaldo legal, en la producción de la muerte y, de esa manera, a renunciar a sí misma. Why the lies? Noelia has repeatedly and consistently expressed her own wish for euthanasia. Stop trying to force your opinion and beliefs on others. The only reason she got that far, is because over the course of YEARS she has remained firm in her wish! It's her own free will. Her parents called the death doctor themselves to have her put down. We should, instead, bring back the death penalty for violent stranger rapes and gang rapes.
