Little Priest Tribal College 2026-2027 Academic Calendar.

On April 17–18, the LPTC Board of Trustees joined President Patil and the Vice Presidents in Omaha, NE for their annual board retreat. It was a highly productive and engaging set of brainstorming sessions focused on key priorities and the future direction of the college.

LPTC Extension will be hosting a seed starting workshop on April 9, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at the Farmer's Market Classroom. Please register to attend. Limited space to 20.

LPTC’s first cohort of carpenters joined us to celebrate the opening of the carpentry building. We like to extend our gratitude to our faculty and BOT for supporting our students during this journey. Huge thanks to Bob Wilcke for teaching this program!

Today marks a historic milestone at Little Priest Tribal College! The LPTC Board of Trustees and President Patil, joined by distinguished guests from across the state, proudly celebrated the ribbon cutting of the Deer Clan Carpentry Building.

Josh Wyner & Leanne Wieland from Aspen Institute College Excellence Program visited the college and had a great conversation and discussion with LPTC Board of Trustees. LPTC Board Member Miskoo Petite presented Josh with the Pendleton Blanket designed by LPTC Alum Trey Blackhawk.

LPTC full-time faculty enjoyed a faculty professional development day on March 6th, sponsored by the AICF Faculty Professional Development Grant. Two cultural experts came and spent the day with faculty to discuss history and teach how to make ribbon skirts and HoChunk Moccasins.

President Patil, Vice President of Academic Affairs Channing Stellato, Director of Student Support Services Trisha Wegner, and Director of Institutional Effectiveness Kavya Mariboyina received the award of behalf of the college at ATD’s DREAM 2026 in Portland, OR.
