New job is off to a great start! I love the small company dynamics, and being home every night. So thankful to have the opportunity to be one of just two trailer drivers for this company that's provided services for my area 100+ years 🙂

@Little__Brando Goo0d Luck. I now drive for a construction company. Remember it is going to be a little harder getting in on construction sites. Nothing like over the road driving. I love every second of it as well as the challenges of getting the lowboy in on a tight site.

All good things must come to an end eventually. I am on my last couple days in the truck. It's been an amazing experience and many sights, but my head isn't in the game like it once was. I have a social life now, & want to be home more than 11 weeks out of the year. 1/3

@Padded_trucker Thanks! I'm sure I'll miss OTR at first. What I like about the local job I'll be doing is that it's half driving and half operating machinery since I'll be loading/unloading my own truck. So I'll get a break from the truck/some exercise throughout the day 🙂

@Little__Brando I tried going local.. it works for some. But once you go OTR, it’s hard to stop lol. Best of luck on the new gig!!

For those curious, I'll be hauling building materials to construction sites! Quite a difference from all the cheese/other food products I've hauled throughout the country these last couple years. 3/3

Its a big change, but I'm excited for this next chapter. I'll still be your little trucker, but I got myself a local route where I can be home every night with my friends/family/& most importantly my dog. I may not be able to wear as much, but I hope you will all stick around! 🤗
