A lot of fighting game players don't realize they're not actually mad at the game.
They're sleep deprived, isolated, indoors all day, not exercising, not socializing, and tying their self-worth to ranked points.
Gaming just becomes the place where all that frustration leaks.

this is my favorite version of terry purely because he kinda just has everything in one moveset, round wave, quick burn, fire kick (as a target combo lol). feels like a genuine love letter to his 30 years of appearances

Ryu will always be #1 iconic street fighter for me, but I think a protege would be nice for the next game. It be really interesting if he did sit one game out, and maybe had Sean or a new character replace him.

@Scotia834 I think the sole reason she isn’t is cause she may come back. Almost every final fight character has been playable in a modern game except her and haggar. Cody and Guy were in 4/5, Lucia was in 5. Carlos cameo in 6. Maki’s turn may be next, assuming that there’s a year 5.

I think Akuma should have a protege. Someone so batshit crazy enough to continue learning Satsui No Hado and even become worse than he is, maybe like Tai Lung.
Ryu never had one, and while Ken has his son and Sean, I feel it be a more interesting dynamic for akuma.
