Yesterday was a long day. I was called for questioning in connection with a case that I believed had no merit, and I attended the questioning to present my version. However, the police arrested me at 5.30 PM. I was granted bail at 10 PM, and the Hon’ble Duty Judge clearly stated that he saw no offence in the case. He also said that he saw no mens rea and failed to understand why I had even been arrested. Grateful to @RaviSharmaTalks and @sidcool2302, the wonderful lawyers who helped me through this. Thankful to the many people, both online and offline, who supported me. I’m truly grateful. Of course, there are many who dislike you and use such opportunities to strike harder when you are down, but that’s fair game. It was your day, and you took it. I can take those blows and come back. At times like these, one realises the importance of ideological support. The people who stood by me at the most crucial juncture were neither close friends nor relatives, but those with whom I am bound by ideology. And it delivered for me when it mattered most. This incident has added many new layers of perspective, most importantly the ones we usually miss in the melee of day-to-day social media discourse. I’ll write about the specifics of this case another day. For now, I just want to say thank you so much to everyone who has been a well-wisher. I’m grateful. Thank you for monitoring the situation.

FIR registered after submitting an application to the SP on 16/04/2026. Details sahred by - Manoj This is my dashcam video. The accident happened on 22 March 2026 near Badopal village in Fatehabad, Haryana, on National Highway 9. I was driving my Maruti Celerio towards Agroha when a Honda City coming in the fast lane, driven by a lady, crashed head-on into my car. The police are refusing to register my FIR because it is a VIP vehicle, and the police officers have already taken money from them. I have already met the SP of Fatehabad on 25 March 2026 and also submitted another complaint to the SP on 10 April 2026, but no proper action has been taken so far. Thankfully, I had a dashcam installed in my car. Otherwise, I would have been forced to pay for the damage to their car as well, because even now the police are trying to portray me as the accused. The police are claiming that the road had been converted into a single lane, but the single-lane diversion started after the next cut ahead. I was never informed about any single-lane traffic, and there were no warning signs either. I also have earlier footage showing that no vehicles were driving on my side of the road. #driveresponsibly

Driving in ORR, driving on highways - people driving need to be vigilant. Drove quite a good distance on ORR and national highways these last 2 weeks ...what I observed : 1) Loads of lorries and even cars go slow in the right 2 overtaking lanes. Despite flashing the headlights and occasionally even honking won't make them change their lane. Why can't slow moving vehicles stick to the left 1-2 lanes and leave the overtaking lanes free? 2) Some drivers straddle two lanes/drive in between the lanes. 3) Some people change the speed, suddenly driving slow and suddenly zooming like mad. When they are driving slow, if you see you will notice that they are watching something on their mobile and driving. 4) Some people constantly tailgate or cut suddenly in front of you from either left or right lane, without indicating. 5) Hardly anyone uses indicators. 6) Wrong side driving. This is the most dangerous of all....see vehicles coming in the opposite direction to the regular traffic and they are speeding too. 7) Pedestrians crossing the roads on the highways. Especially after they get down from the bus, they just run to the opposite side without even looking. They are in the blind spot for the incoming vehicles as bus obstructs them. They can easily wait for bus to pass, but they don't. 8) 2 times saw little boys, about 10 years of age, crossing busy highways on their bicycles. 😨 Om Shanti to the departed people in the ORR accident. #ORR
