@suddiraval It takes itself so deathly seriously and is completely humourless to the point it made what was meant to be epic almost arch-camp. And the Zimmer chords were a little overdone too (in my opinion) - I still enjoyed it though but I was laughing at it a bit too!

I was the first person in the cinema and I was the last one out. I only left cos the cleaners came and we’re interrupting my ambience :) My mind is still blown. It’s a work of art.

I got a bit of mockery for playing small venues, but it is not just highly intentional it is incredibly rewarding. I've frequently posted writings by myself and others about he decay of the UK music scene, so you have to put your money where your mouth is and go out there and support UK small venues. And it is always a better vibe, and it is always a more enjoyable experience than the mega gaffs. What we do was always supposed to be about a basement, a red light and a strobe. So I don't feel anything but pride when a local paper speaks to a budding new small venue about how excited they are about me and my mates working with them. honestly, miss the chil out room component of the R***. it exists but it is rare. a whole generation grew up and entered nightlife never really knowing! at a festival, in an enclosed space cuz a stage would never work. the surrounding outside noise would ruin the experience.

She paved the way for women in broadcasting, fought her way into Radio 1 when there were no female presenters. Continued to champion women, young people, new music for the entirety of her career, never retired. What a legacy, what a life lived! We were all in awe of her ❤️
