New study finds British stiff upper lip "not a thing anymore". •Classic British sense of humour now 52% "😂😂😂😂" & "cry about it" •Cup of tea and calm down found "ineffective" in 87% of situations •Blitz spirit replaced with hatred of cyclists #Colin #Schiphol

Absolutely disgusting service at Schiphol airport. 55 minutes we have been stood in the immigration queue. This isn’t the Brexit I voted for.

Not all of them are far right. Most of them ARE normal people. Doesn't excuse their behaviour. Watch the normal people weep in court as they are charged with looting Lush & Greggs. But Clarkson knows this, pandering to his mostly male, working class, patriotic audience.

Politics for Beginners •#GeneralElection The public is asked to decide who will form the next government through an anonymous ballot Political parties promise life changing policies whilst maintaining the status quo of rich/poor, ignoring Care, & keeping all wealth in London

As #GeneralElection2024 trends & PM Sunak launches another attack on disabled people, we ask What is he doing? appealing to Tory base voters who hate benefits claimants? "salting the earth" for Labours term in power? passing legislation to help rich Tory employers/donors

Retraction After fruitful discussions with his legal team, we are pleased to retract our statement that "Douglas Ross only got into politics because he gets to be on the telly"

Politics for Beginners •Shameful A word trotted out by politicians so often it has lost all meaning to the point of parody. Most often used to describe: •Policies •Scandals •Tory Expense Claims #PoliticsLive

Politics For Beginners •Apologies To win power, a political party must appear strong & stable That's why deviating from rhetoric designed to win votes - by apologising or answering a question directly - is seen as political suicide No one ever comments on how odd this is

Humza Yousaf should be ashamed that the SNP Government made ‘purely political’ decisions to start a ‘good old fashioned rammy’ with the UK Government during the pandemic. This is a total betrayal of the public who sacrificed so much during Covid.

Politics for Beginners •The Opposition A group of politicians who need something to do whilst not in power. Usually not self aware, odious & pious when it comes to political machinations Often leave politics with the feeling they did not achieve much, but at least got paid
Douglas Ross@Douglas4Moray

Nicola Sturgeon's reputation now lies in tatters. Her actions beg a very simple question: what did she want to hide by deleting these messages? Shamefully and outrageously for families of those who died during the pandemic, we may never know.

Politics for Beginners •A Politician The physical embodiment of mediocrity. Often seeks power without ever attaining it, settling for using their peer's contacts to make as much money as possible in their tenure as recompense. #AutumnStatement #JeremyHunt #POLITICS2023

Politics for Beginners •Rhetoric Messages conveyed to the public by political parties to express their policies, omit the truth about their motives & explain who they want to punch down on next Ie "The Conservatives will stop the boats, punish the poor & dismantle the NHS"

After wasting 100BN of British taxpayers money, we take a look at what could've been bought instead. 1. Giving the entire population of the UK £1 million pounds each =£67BN Remember though, there is no magic money tree. #bbclaurak #BlackFriday @Jeremy_Hunt #LBC @LBC
