We've been awarded Cider Pub of Excellence 2026 by @LiverpoolCAMRA so we thought we'd give you a taste of the ciders on offer @vernonarmsl2 First up, we have Happy Daze from @Gwyntyddraig A fruity, apple aroma with a well-balanced finish it's a light easy to drink medium cider.

Looking for a classic Mild? We have Gunpowder Mild brewed in Cheshire by Coach House. Stronger than average it's a very dark mild with a deep, full flavour, roast malt hints & a slightly bitter aftertaste. ABV 3.8% @VernonArmsL2 now. @LiverpoolCAMRA

We've got a tap takeover coming on 18 & 19 March featuring @OakhamAles Two of the four @OakhamAles cask ales going on the bar are brews we've never had @VernonArmsL2 before. Keep an eye on our social media feeds for details. @LiverpoolCAMRA

We have Hirundo from @thornbridge A classic hoppy pale ale with Chinook & Willamette hops full of zingy freshness. Originally brewed in Spring it's named after the Latin for the Swallow, Spring's most anticipated avian arrival. On the bar @VernonArmsL2 now. @LiverpoolCAMRA

Everyone knows JHB from @OakhamAles A superbly refreshing light golden bitter, distinctively smooth, with citrus fruitiness and a refreshing hoppy finish. Hops: Mount Hood (USA) and Challenger (UK). On the bar @VernonArmsL2 now 🍻 @LiverpoolCAMRA
