I’m not going to be completely positive about them adding another layer of unnecessary power creep that they have a bad reputation of doing over the course of the franchise. Classified Gear single handedly ruined everything The Division 1 had built within one update and that’s something they said they weren’t going to add to The Division 2 but this is basically the same idea. If you can’t see the downsides of it then I don’t really know what to tell you.

@LividFray I don't agree man. It's weird that everybody is saying "delay delay DELAY" Like they're devs and see it being bad when you should be positive. Like... This game was supposed to die after Fay Lau. . think about that. And we're about to be in YEAR 8 SEASON 1

I really think you guys need to only release Escalation for now and delay the release of Prototype Gear. Let it go through a few more rounds of testing before it releases into the game, we shouldn't just be testing stuff like this in live servers.
