Today has been 1 of the hardest days of my life as my dad. Today Baylor went for appointments at Children’s Mercy and he finally has realized he will be different all his life. He has sobbed, asking why nobody is like him. Why it won’t go away.. There is no pain like this 💔

Small ways to become a kinder person this holiday season: 1. Wait for someone if they are falling behind. 2. Stop saying hurtful things, especially behind a person’s back. 3. Be proud of yourself for the times you've said 'yes,' when all it meant was extra work for you and was seemingly helpful only to somebody else. 4. If someone gets interrupted, ask them what they were going to say and then listen. 5. Don’t allow your feelings to be an excuse for bad behavior. 6. A story I want to tell you. Not long ago I was in a race running the furthest distance I’ve attempted to that date. I was sick, extremely sleep deprived, lacking nutrition, it was 3 am and I began to shut down. My mind wasn’t right. The weather was really cold, yet I tore my clothes off because I felt hot. I didn’t know if I was on a bridge or in a cow pasture. As I ran, I was avoiding random vehicles. I was in a place I’ve never been and I felt like my life was slipping away. I prayed to God and my late grandmother as I ran alone. Despite my systems shutting down, I made it to the finish line. My body didn’t stop shaking for hours. I couldn’t get warm. I tried to stop my limbs from spasming but nothing worked and no help was to be found. It’s difficult to explain to you what was happening. You should know that I require a tremendous amount of energy to run one mile, let alone a lot of miles…and at the time of this run, I just got my right side limb salvage device so every movement felt new and really difficult. In hindsight, I maybe should’ve skipped this race. When the sun began to rise, my body slowly climbed out of shock. I knew that the universe provided a path to my recovery. I don’t have the words to explain what happened to me out there, but it changed every fiber of my being. I was not always the resilient person you see. The suffering through years of treatments to reconstruct my body, the nasty comments I receive to this day, losing my physical abilities, and the inevitable need for carbon fiber to wrap around my limbs so I can walk…all this stuff did break me. I had a very dark night of the soul. I chose to become who I am, and I petitioned God and worked relentlessly to get here. You too can transcend your adversities and become your greatest self. I don’t fully understand pain. I spent much of my life reading, meditating, praying in hopes of understanding the purpose of pain. It’s kind of amazing how a human gets patched up and then functions at a decent level. Surgeries + a lifetime of treatments + some hardware helped mold me back together…and then the devices on my legs keep me moving forward. @MMARoasted @jakepaul Apparently, Denis thought Sean was a bully and had a little back and forth on IG and Denis showed up despite the size difference and they sparred. Vegas is just weird some days. This shit happens a lot here.

@MMARoasted @MMARoasted that’s Denis Doughlin. He’s a really good boxer, but about 65 lbs lighter than Sean. Used to be my kids’ striking coach. He’s helped @jakepaul and a bunch of other boxers.

The entire U.S. economy is about to shut down again, but this time it won't be a dress rehearsal like with #Covid19. This will be the real thing. We won't ask businesses to close they'll have no choice but to close. Tens of millions will be fired from jobs that will never return!

@dagenmcdowell I’m a real estate agent in NC. Data shows prices steady through 2023 with higher interest rates. Low inventory, higher rents = housing is still a good investment. I have great data I can share 😎
