My thoughts on the Luka Dončić Men’s Health piece: 1) Luka had already began building his body team in 2023 which led him to having his best season ever and leading the Mavs to Finals so miss me with the idea of why didn’t he do this in Dallas…he literally did 2) He went from the Finals, to just weeks later to Team Slovenia to try and help them qualify for the Olympics, his body never truly recovered going into the 24-25 season 3) As much as fans love Luka, we all know how much he hates losing, he could’ve been as motivated as he wanted but his body clearly wasn’t at point to deliver the way he wanted coming off the longest season of his career 4) Dončić was clearly proven right not to trust the Mavs medical team who tried to push him to come back quicker from his calf injury than what he and his body team wanted so he knew exactly what he was doing and not to trust the team’s medical staff And finally… 5) A team with this type of talent tries to find every way to work with the player and his team, to ensure he gets to the kind of shape the player needs, we’ve since learned the Mavericks didn’t do that; imagine if the Nuggets had given up on Nikola Jokic when he had his conditioning issues; you just don’t do give up on it, you work with the player and figure it out Need a lot more context when you think about everything…#MFFL
