Honestly, it’s a gentleman’s move by Sid and Geno. They’ve won more Stanley Cups than the Philadelphia Flyers have in their franchise’s history, so sometimes you gotta let the little kid win. I personally wouldn’t, but I can respect it.

In response to the overwhelming volume of Flyers fans who don't believe Sidney Crosby should have reacted to the high stick (and are all over my replies), today at City Hall from 1-3pm I will set up a booth in which I offer to hit Flyers fans in the face with a stick.

We need to talk about something. We knew Philly fans were dirty. We knew they were classless. We knew they were basically cavemen of the modern era. But who knew so many of them were so cringy and weird? That’s something new we only truly discovered in the social media era.

One of my favorite things about covering games in Philly is the selective videos that they show on the scoreboard. Konecny's elbow to Rust's face was conveniently edited out. They made sure to show him calling Rust a certain body part from the penalty box, also.

Sidney Crosby has taken more abuse than any NHL player, yet is the face of the league and does it with class. The NHL treats him like garbage and they should all be sent out to pasture. Every dinosaur in the league who lets this abuse go on is lower than scum.

The NHL has treated Sidney Crosby like a doormat that it lets its dog take a sh*t on. All the while he saved the league and made it a boat load of money. Sid is pure class, NHL Refs and the slobbering fools in the NHL that let this happen are a$$.
