In the Army you are at times very close to many..earthy things. Dirt, dark humor, and don’t forget the fart jokes. One memorable morning, a Monday morning as well, my company was conducting Physical Training. PT as it was called. We did our pushups, our sit ups, and various other exercises. The the commands, “ Assemble to the right! Right Face! Forward March! DOUBLE TIME!” All the army vets know that sequence. Now Monday morning is when all the things you did during the weekend come back to haunt you… Many are the morning that the Booze, the Soju, the Mekju, and all the spicy food you ate come oozing out of your pores. That’s understandable even enviable under the right circumstances. But THIS morning Sergeant Wooten topped them all, He was the second man back from the front of the formation. I’d been in stinky formations. Reeking formations but I’d NEVER experienced this. A ‘Braap’ from SGT Wooten. “Jeeze! What the hell was that? Who died?” Then ‘ BRAAAAAAAAAAP’ The rank behind him fell out. The next rank fell out. The third rank behind had figured it out as the first two were puking and the entire formation dissolved around the green stinking cloud the emanated from SGT Wooten Picture if you will, two perfect ranks running with 50 men in chaos behind them…

@DungeonNoir Stopping at McDonalds on our way down to the lake for the summer. There was no lake house waiting... we got a slip and camped all summer. My father drove back to work for the week while we stayed at the camp.
