@Unity_Hitman @SorehaNick The point of this recoil nerf was mid long range. Guns still quick point blank yes, but should be a lot harder to get beamed by the fastest killing guns in game from range (TR7, SCW, KV9 etc), which limits their use to only close which is good

I see a lot of people upset about this change. Think about it like this, this means less deaths for EVERYONE as less people overall have the ability and skill to kill you at longer ranges with full auto weapons. Meaning you can actually move around the map. You want to kill people from longer ranges with automatic weapons? Lock in.

SEASON 3 Recoil Changes Comparison (on controller) All guns have 0 attachments besides the Miniflex sight and on a few weapons I added the extended mag to maximize the recoil pattern that's it (FOV is on 110) 70 minutes of season 3 content is uploaded on my YouTube Channel.

@skitzturtle Anyone who has played controller on this game knows the aim assist on this game is VERY weak compared to other FPS out there. There is zero rotational aim assist like COD, so aim snapping, just a mild slowdown when hovered over enemy. 100% skill issue sorry

Weapon balance in BF6 is fine until controllers get involved. There's no counter to getting locked onto by aim assist, beamed by reduced recoil, and lasered by guns with bullet velocity so fast that leading shots isn't an issue. LT RT

Battlefield 6 | 2026 Roadmap Update + What’s Next Thank you to everyone who shared their thoughts on last week’s 2026 roadmap. Seeing the response has meant a lot to the team, and we’re genuinely grateful to have you on this journey with us. We’re continuing to dig through all of your feedback so we can focus on the things you care about most in the months ahead. In the meantime, we’ve seen a few questions come up consistently—so here are some quick answers: ▪️We’re actively exploring improvements to the combat experience, with gunplay as a primary focus, and will continue iterating on these changes with player feedback through Battlefield Labs. ▪️Ranked play will be available at the start of Season 3 in REDSEC BR Quads, MP Ranked arrives later this year. ▪️Railway to Golmud is larger than Operation Firestorm. ▪️Server Browser details are still being finalized, but it’s a priority for us to talk about as soon as they’re ready. Season 3 is also just around the corner, so you won’t be waiting long to learn more. Starting next week, we’ll be taking a deep dive into Railway to Golmud and how it’s been reimagined for Battlefield 6, alongside some of the changes and improvements based on player feedback from the recent Battlefield Labs tests. We’ll also be sharing changes to land vehicles designed to make their gameplay more consistent, responsive, and viable in a wider variety of engagements. Then in early May, we’ll walk you through the full Ranked Play experience so you’re ready to jump into Fort Lyndon when Season 3 launches. We’ll keep the updates coming as we head into Season 3 next month. Until then, we’ll see you on the Battlefield.

Anyone interested in multiplayer ranked? I’m just curious how it will work, will it be only 5v5? or all the game modes?

@DRUNKKZ3 Super excited for these changes. In the roadmap video, the guy said ranked multiplayer later on after ranked REDSEC. Any chance for ranked Strikepoint? There’s a lot of dedicated players on that mode including myself

@edub30 But making it faster will alienate a lot of the casuals when close range gunfights become harder and harder to react to. I firmly believe we can have a system that both casuals and tryhards are happy with. I mean we have had it in the past, you just need to modernize it

Almost everyone dislikes BF6 movement in one way or another, and even those who don't dislike it, feel it's hollow. I don't think it can be totally fixed for BF6, but to me, it slowly becomes clearer and clearer what kind of movement system we need for the next game.

Nerfing the already extremely mediocre movement in a game that already has a skill-gap / gameplay depth issue. You are making the game worse.

Asol - our bad on this one. Clearly we overshot on balance and we own that (underestimated how much the W buff did specifically). Post nerf, we still believe Asol is stronger than pre-buff though. The impetus for the changes was honoring the desire of Asol players to be rewarded for proactivity in lane, but we realized post ship that rewarding this with fragging power from W (rather than stacks that play into his scaling fantasy) was too statchecky and resulted in poor gameplay (hence pulling it back further than it was before and leaving the power in stacking). (you can either deal with this pattern or not and it can't really miss) We're open to being wrong and that Asol players prefer a more passive style, but that's the reasoning for the changes at least and we'll monitor from here. Illaoi - she's looking pretty strong, but not strong enough for her to be hot fixed. Illaoi is one of those champs who benefits more from "play against" that requires relearning, so we'll monitor if she gets weaker over time. Maokai - he's looking strong for sure and still went down on the patch, but similar to illaoi, not strong enough to hotfix. He'll be adjusted next patch though Wukong - Top is still not looking particularly strong. We approached it pretty conservatively, because range changes can be pretty impactful. No planned followup changes here as he's still stronger, but need to think about things that are good for top that don't buff jungle up a lot. Damage - We still need more info to see how proc damage changes play out, though we still have intentions to reduce damage to squishy champions back to around durability patch values if this doesn't move the needle a lot. We also have plans to get some squishy building champions like Galio Sylas, etc. onto more health oriented builds.

14.3! Snowball, game length, objective power are still feeling pretty good! Tomorrow will be detailed patch preview and the day after, I'm going to chat a little more about ranked (just to not have too much stuff in one go) Burst Damage - The stat shard changes in 14.2 aimed to bring interesting choices and burst damage reductions - Compared to 13.24, most classes are surviving longer by 0-1s in the average combat scenario, with a few exceptions - These are mainly AD Assassins and Mages who are dealing and receiving more damage (as their items lost health and gained AP) - Compared to peak durability update, Assassin, Mage and Marksmen are dying a little faster, but Fighters, Tanks and Supports are a bit more durable - 14.3 will bring further reductions to burst damage from items to correct this. For some items, that reduction in burst will be added back to the AP to be interpreted by the champion's ratios (eg. Ludens/Stormsurge), for others, it will just be a straight nerf. - It's also a little early to tell, but it appears that mages have lost anywhere between 0.5-1.5% WR in bot lane Systemic Proc Nerfs - Inside this bucket of changes are buffs to the AP mana items (ROA, Archangels, Malignance, Ludens) - We didn't feel comfortable doing these while burst was high and AP as a whole was OP, but now that those are corrected, we're fixing the choice structure here - Along with these are some nerfs to Alternator, Rocketbelt, Helias, Shiv, Stormrazor, Profane, Lich, Titanic - Our philosophy is that some procs should scale with level/ratios, if it's important that they stay relevant with gametime/AR/MR growth, but otherwise, they should be flat damage and fall off - Proc damage scaling excessively with ratios turns champs into item delivery systems and turns already snowbally champions into giga-snowball - Stridebreaker is also becoming a Tiamat item. It's struggled to find an audience and we're doing this partially to unique it against things like Ravenous and Titanic which would otherwise cause it to be excessively bursty Lethality - The changes to how Lethality is calculated benefited Marksmen, which was intended, but a little too much - We're bringing Collector and Ghostblade (for ranged) down a bit, which should bring Lethality Marksmen more in line Support Items - We're fixing some bugs with the Support quest items where the minion penalty was turning on if you used every proc to last hit minions This is already getting long, so I'll cover champions more in depth tomorrow, but the high level is: Adjustments - Some changes are targeted at champions who are having a sad time with systemic changes (eg. Illaoi with walls that are further away) - Others have some role or build things that we'd like to adjust (like Maokai) Nerfs - Champs that have been strong for a while (looking at you Trundle). - Champions with %maxHP damage that benefit from everyone having more HP (Lillia, Brand) - Pro champs like Azir, Karma (we overbuffed here) - Champs like Rengar who are popping off a bit too much, as he's one of the few champs that double benefited from Hubris + Profane buffs Buffs - Some of these champions are weak (eg. Nidalee from losing Night Harvester) - Some are building the wrong items, like Zeri, so we're updating recommendations

@RiotPhlox Tryndamere for many years has had a bug where he can’t cast his R right after his W, which leads to many deaths where you couldn’t R even though you were spamming it. Only W works this way and all other abilities allow you to cast R afterwards

Hey gamers, I'd love to hear of any small QoL changes or bugfixes that would meaningfully improve your experience with a champ you play. For QoL think little changes that would be much more important for how your champion feels than their numbers or whatever

Phroxzon is out this week, so we'll be stepping in for this Preview! Small patch this time as we prepare for 13.10, which will be our biggest patch since season start. 13.9 focuses on lifting some champions that haven't felt great, including bigger changes for Neeko and Kayle.
