When it comes to moves they are making to literally save Christians from a genocide, all of a sudden they exercise discretion. This discretion isn't present when they need to boast of how they prophesied for a politician to gain power. God will judge us all. We boast about having money. We boast about having influence. We boast about having access to 'kings.' We boast about having reach to the nations. But villages are being sacked in the North and all our wealth and power can do nothing to purhcase safety for them. So what is the point of the money?

One hard sour truth that a lot of Nigerian Christians don’t want to hear and I’m here to say it openly is: The reason that many pastors look away at the incompetence of government who fails to protect Christians from barbaric murderous savages is because The politicians fund many of your pastors and your pastors show loyalty by keeping quiet even if their own church members are brutally slaughtered. Many of these pastors have received blood money (disguised as donations) but is actually a payment for their conscience, a mortgage of their souls and a silencing of their voices. There, you have it. That is why. If nobody will say it, I surely will. You want to know why your pastor is silent or merely sharing vague “prayers” but he can never condemn the government, this is why.

I didn’t lose family or friends by leaving religion. I didn’t lose any real opportunities either. If anything, I’ve become more successful and built stronger relationships since I quit in 2020. The people who matter don’t care about your beliefs, just get things done.
