Step 3: Your GBP needs to reflect this too. Post GBP updates mentioning the neighborhoods you serve. Upload photos geotagged from job sites in those areas. Respond to reviews and mention the neighborhood naturally. 'Thanks for choosing us for your kitchen remodel in Chandler' does more than 'Thanks for the 5 stars!' Review corpus topic gaps. Google runs NLP topic extraction across your entire review corpus and builds a service affinity map from what customers actually mention. If you're a roofer and every review says "great guy, highly recommend" but nobody mentions "roof replacement" or "storm damage," Google has zero review level topical confirmation for your money services. Categories say what you do. Reviews are supposed to corroborate it. When that overlap is missing, competitors with fewer reviews but better topic diversity outrank you.
