Seen people attacking Carlo for this. Two things can be true 1.) this is much better than the prior offerings they put out for hof boxes. 3 100 pieces and you choose the 100 that pops out. 2.) this game still dogshit and the offer is still dogshit overall. It’s crazy that 2k starts the “value” conversation buy in at $100 bucks. To make matters worse there isn’t shit you can do in game to even feel like your money was justifiably spent. There’s no rewards or paths to anything to upgrade your account from the moment you purchase these cards forward.

5 banners in new threads is the same as wbc. Add in 5 icons get you 5 more packs. I’m not saying wbc is bad, I’m only saying it isn’t out of the realm of possibility that new threads mini season could be just as good, maybe better. It’s all on the eye of the beholder. 5 ballin packs guarantees golds at least. So how do you value ballin packs compared to normal packs.

So hear me out, because I know some will say this is crazy....after talking with @Tb3Mlb WBC mini season 6 games(quit 1 game) 11(1 save) normal packs and 1 Ballin every season 5 packs for 40 XHB, and 1 wbc pack for 200 hits New Thread Mini Season 11 games(quit 2 games) 16 normal packs(30 strikeouts, 50 total bases) 5 ballin packs every 100 strikeouts, 1 new thread pack for 150 hits. If you use all new thread players, you can get the 150 hits every 3rd season(at least). 100 strikeouts every other season. I am not convinced that New Thread mini seasons isn't better that WBC. This doesn't factor in the icon exchange and jersey exchange pieces. I am going to test it this weekend and play 5 seasons of both and see how many packs vs time invested.
