Veach has to have his best draft ever this year. KC has so many holes(WR, entire RB room, DE, DT, TE) and they won't have much cap space to sign high profile free agents either, mostly in part because they have so many bad contracts on the books.
They need immediate impact, high value guys too. No more of these mediocre, unimpressive starters that rarely make a difference. KC has to get elite, cheap talent now or they could be in trouble for the next few years.
