With just 4 days until game one let’s get to know our 3rd and final senior this year. 🚂🥎 #12 Shelby Terry Shelby is a 3 year letter winner for us. She has been primarily an outfielder for us over the years. - Her favorite candy is anything chocolate 🍫 - Her favorite memories deal with being 3x sectional champs, 2 time BBC champs and getting to experience 2 regionals, all things she will never forget.

With only 5 days until game one we focus now on our senior wearing #5 Zoe Uribes - Zoe is a 3 year letter winner for us. She has played both the IF and OF but has become a staple in our OF over the last couple of years. - Her favorite candy is sour skittles - Her favorite memory was getting to play in regionals.

We are just 6 days away from our first game of 2026. Today we focus on the first of three seniors. Senior #2 Bella Ramos 🚂🥎 - Bella is a 3 year letter winner for us and has started at 2nd base primarily for the last 3 years. - Her favorite candy is Cadbury mini eggs 🐣 - Her favorite softball memory is beating Hilltop in the district final her sophomore year.

Head Varsity Coach: Andy Robinson Coach Robinson is entering his 6th year as the head coach at Montpelier. In those 6 years the program has won 2 league titles, 3 sectional titles and 2 district titles. - 66 wins and 43 losses for the program - The program is coming off an outright league title and back to back sweet 16s.

Volunteer Assistant: Bryan Hopper Coach Hopper has been a key part to our pitching staff over the years. He brings great knowledge of the position and works with our pitchers, youth all the way to Varsity. - Coach Hopper has been part of our staff for the last 4 years. - He has helped call 7 no hitters over his time in the program.

Today is the official day for first games in the 2026 softball season. Although we wont have our first varsity game for another 9 days, we want to bring to you some Montpelier Locos softball content. Starting today with introducing your 2026 softball staff. 🚂🥎

Stop me if you’ve heard this before… Madelyn Hopper complete game shutout with 7Ks and her first win. Not to mention her first career hit and RBI yesterday in an 8-0 win for Defiance College. Just the beginning for her! 🚂🥎

Congrats to both Madelyn Hopper and Lyla Mahan on signing their letter of intent yesterday to continue their academic and softball careers at the next level. Madelyn will be heading to Defiance College and Lyla will be off to Owens. We wish both of them the best of luck 🚂🥎
