Question for people who schedule a 9am meeting for the first day back after the holidays… is violence your love language?

So who still remembers their work laptop sign in credentials after the holidays?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but the first day back after taking time off is for going through my inbox and mentally preparing to be here for the next 8 hours. Please leave me alone. I’m fragile right now.

stubbing your toe hurts but have you ever opened your inbox after taking time off from work?

I am going to need 4-24 business days to recover from last night. I didn’t drink, I just stayed up past 11pm.

Why does being an adult feel like a never ending to do list?

I don’t know who needs to hear this but just because that is their definition of success doesn’t mean it needs to be yours too.

On average, how many times do you open an email just to *mark as unread* so you can deal with it at a later time?

If your internet can disconnect during the work day then so can you. Go take a break.
