Our set test piece for the Yorkshire Area Contest is called “Three Howarth Impressions’. A lovely piece that would sound even better if we had a 2nd Trombone and a 2nd Baritone ! Know anyone who can help ?😄

Sunday 7th December - we’re in two places at once ! The Tap at Ossett and The Kings Arms on Heath Common. Carols at both venues starting at 3pm 🎅🏻🎶

After the light switch on event last week we’re back in Rothwell on Saturday spreading Christmas cheer in Morrisons. 10am-2pm

Tonight we welcome past players and friends of the band as we all sadly come together for a rehearsal before we play at Jesse’s funeral on Wednesday.

Our contesting endeavours today were totally overshadowed by the devastating news that our bass player, Jesse, had lost his battle with MND. RIP old friend ❤️

The Band didn’t get the result we wanted, finishing 8th at the contest. Congratulations to Barnsley Met and Oughtibridge who will be representing Yorkshire in the finals.
