Was fortunate enough to see Brian Wilson live in Glasgow in 2016 at the Royal Concert Hall, still to this day the best gig I’ve ever been to. He sat down in front of the piano and transported the entire venue back in time to the 60s, I’ve never seen anything like it since. RIP

It’s very good to be back in the pages of Scotland’s finest cultural magazine. Was lucky enough to see @samfendermusic battle through a nasty flu to put on a cracker of a show at the Hydro in Glasgow last night. Give it a read ⬇️

Realised today it’s been a year since I started freelancing as a journalist. It’s not the easiest gig, but in that time I’ve waved off the pandas, written a feature on my favourite band, done live election coverage on the radio, and went to a few free gigs. Not bad for a start.

Took some time off the ole radio airwaves to go and visit a place both wonderful and strange… Can confirm the cherry pie and coffee in Twin Peaks is indeed damn fine!
